Implant options

Teeth designed for everyday life, for one tooth, several, or a full arch.

An implant is a small post set in the bone that holds a crown, a bridge or a full set of teeth, built to look and work like a natural tooth.

Not sure which one fits? That’s what the first visit is for.

Is this for me?

Wondering if implants are right for you?

Age is rarely the deciding factor. Bone and overall health matter more, and the first visit looks at both. If anything needs to happen first, like a bone graft, you’ll know up front.

The first visit

One visit to get every answer.

  1. 01

    Exam and X-rays

Dr. Franco examines your teeth and gums and takes X‑rays.

    3D scan, if needed

If the case calls for it, a 3D scan is part of the same visit. It shows the bone where an implant would go.

    Your plan

You leave with your plan in hand: every step and what it costs, whether or not you book that day.

Example treatment plan: steps only, no figures

The whole journey

From first visit to new teeth, with no surprises along the way.

Five stages. Healing usually takes a few months, and Dr. Franco checks it along the way.

01

First visit

An exam, X-rays, a 3D scan if the case calls for it, and your plan.

02

If needed

Only if your case needs it: preparing the area, like removing a tooth or adding bone, so the implant has a solid base.

03

Placement

Implant placement, by Dr. Franco, using BioHorizons implants.

The area is numbed first, and sedation is available. Dr. Franco walks you through it at the first visit.

04

Healing

Checked about two weeks after placement, and again at three to six months.

Usually a few months; timing varies.
05

Final teeth

The final crown or teeth, made by a dental lab to Dr. Franco’s plan.

Meet Dr. Adrian Franco, the dentist you’ll see at every visit.

Big implant chains rarely tell you who your dentist will be. Here, Dr. Franco plans your case, places the implant and checks it as it heals.

Questions

Questions, answered straight.

Anything else, just ask.

01

How much do implants cost?

It depends on the case: how many teeth, and whether anything needs to happen first. Your plan lists every step and what each one costs.

02

Does getting an implant hurt?

The area is numbed before anything starts, and the practice offers oral conscious sedation. Dr. Franco talks through whether it fits your case, and what the days after usually feel like, at your first visit.

03

How long does it take?

Usually a few months. The implant needs to heal before the final crown goes on. Dr. Franco checks it about two weeks after placement, and again at three to six months. Timing varies.

04

Can I eat normally with implants?

Implant teeth are designed to handle everyday eating. While the implant heals, Dr. Franco tells you what to eat and what to avoid for your case.

05

What if I need a bone graft?

If your case needs one, Dr. Franco explains why, and it’s in your plan up front.

06

Can I talk to someone in Spanish?

Yes. Our whole team speaks Spanish.

Single‑tooth implants

Will I get talked into something bigger?

What it is
For one tooth, it’s one implant and one crown. If the case needs anything first, you hear it before you decide.
Day to day
It’s fixed, so there’s nothing to take out at night, and it’s built to bite and chew like the teeth beside it. While it heals, you brush the area gently and skip the water flosser around a temporary.
How it goes
Dr. Franco places the implant and checks it about two weeks after placement and again as it heals. For a tooth that shows when you smile, you wear a temporary tooth the whole time it heals. Teeth further back usually don’t need one.
The honest part
It isn’t quick. The implant needs about 3 to 6 months to fully heal in the bone before the crown goes on.
Why here
The implant is BioHorizons, and a dental lab makes the crown to Dr. Franco’s plan.

No pressure: you leave the first visit with a written plan, whether you go ahead or not.

Multiple‑tooth implants

Several new teeth. Will they look real?

What it is
Each replaced tooth gets its own implant and its own crown, fixed in place.
Day to day
Each crown is designed to look like a natural tooth, up close and in photos.
How it goes
A 3D scan, when the case calls for it, shows the bone before anything is placed. Each implant goes in, heals, then gets its crown.
The honest part
Nervous about the surgery? Dr. Franco offers oral conscious sedation and talks you through whether it fits.
Why here
Dr. Franco checks every implant himself as it heals, about two weeks after placement and again before the crowns go on.

Choose a time below and ask which option fits.

Implant‑supported bridges

Bridge, or one implant per tooth?

What it is
A bridge is one fixed piece: a row of new teeth joined together and held by implants.
Day to day
It stays in, built for a regular dinner out with nothing to take out at the table.
How it goes
Once the implants heal, the bridge goes on.
Why here
The first visit is an exam and X-rays, a 3D scan if needed, and the options that fit, explained in plain words.

That visit settles it.

Full‑arch implants (All‑on‑X)

What do I wear while it heals?

What it is
A full arch is a complete fixed set of teeth for the upper or lower jaw, held by several implants.
Day to day
It stays in, day and night, built for ordinary meals and laughing with your mouth open.
How it goes
Twenty-four hours after the implants go in, you come back and temporary teeth are screwed in. You wear them for 3 to 6 months while the implants heal, then the final fixed set goes in, made by a dental lab to Dr. Franco’s plan.
The honest part
If a case needs teeth removed, a bone graft or the bone leveled first, it’s listed in your written plan, with what each step costs, before you decide.
Why here
Dr. Franco plans at least 4 implants per arch, and aims for 5 or 6.

Implant‑supported dentures

Yes, this one comes out at night.

What it is
An implant-supported denture is a removable full set that snaps onto 2 implants, sometimes up to 4, and covers the roof of the mouth.
Day to day
Snapped in for the day, it’s built for a family dinner and a long conversation. At night it comes out for cleaning.
How it goes
While the implants heal, a removable denture is worn, usually for about 6 months; timing varies. Then the denture snaps onto the implants.
The honest part
It’s still a denture. The difference is what holds it: implants.
Why here
The whole team speaks Spanish, so you can ask in whichever language you think in.

Pick a time and ask how it compares with the fixed option.
